Larry Mckenna as some of you know was my teacher when I was young and in college.

He is such a pure musician. He really taught to think about all the extra crap we add. I know I still add it, but hopefully because of him I add a lot less.

An excellent reminder of the value of restraint and good taste. Your comping exemplifies that. Yes, cut out the crap and let the music speak for itself. I'm working on another Hoagy Carmichael tune, Stardust, with my band and hope to bring a similar quality to it. Thanks, Michael
