Wow, there's a lot of wisdom here! I always admired Bill for carrying on doing his thing, while rock/free jazz/fusion was going on. He really carried it to new heights too. I love listening to the original recording of "My Foolish Heart" and then his last recorded version of it live at the Vanguard.
