To change your password, go into your account. once you've logged in you'll on the left under your name you'll see 'My Account'. Click there and you'll go to your account and then click edit and you'll see where to change your password.

I have a series on modes inside the subscription part of the site. One of the subscribers asked for names of tunes in different modes. So I thought I'd ask all you guys.

So Phrygian, name some tunes that are Phrygian. You can also name sections of tunes that are Phrygian.

There are a few of you using the annotations. Subscribers will see it on each page. They can keep notes and then go there account page and see an 'annotations' tab. There they can read there annotations and then click to go back to the article.

Annotations are really helpful!

They great thing about tunes is that they're automatic etudes! I'm doing a hard etude with the tune Cherokee. I plan on writing it out and posting it here.

Tonight I decided to take a tune that's a little uncomfortable for me and work on it. The tune is 'I Should Care'. For me it lays awkward on the instrument. I think tunes in F work the best on the instrument. They have the biggest range!

'I Should Care' is in C and it always gives me trouble. If you play it 'up' and octave it doesn't seem to lay well, especially when you're playing Chords and the melody.

Ahmad Jamal and Gary Burton play a tune called "One", not the one from "A Chorus Line."
This is from the early eighties at a foreign jazz festival. I'm not sure if it's Montreux. This tune has an African flavor to it. I have the LP from which this performance is taken. Jamal and Burton have never worked together before and, to my knowledge hadn't worked together since.

I live in Amsterdam and living in Amsterdam means that you can't really practice at home. At least not where I practice and especially not if you also play drums and live with your girlfriend who doesn't have a dayjob like me(musician).
