I am learning Here's That Rainy Day for my jam with accordion and guitar. I found a Karaoke track for practice.

Here is my practice session.

My critiques of my playing are that I should play the melody on the beat and probably lay out more.
I like that I kept the melody straight, without a lot of ornamentation. I had versions with ornamentation and it didn't seem to fit this situation.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Remember you alternate between the 2 mallets in each hand.

Today is Emilie's b-day... ('our' Emilie) and I found out too that Vid Jamnik ('our' Vid) has now his own quartet!! I told him he was not nice to hide us those kind of things... so here is a great recording of their own "Emily" version from this summer. Enjoy!! :o)
