I am working on converting my vibes into a MIDI controller. So far I wired up 8 Piezo pickups (white notes from B to B) for a proof of concept. My motivation is to be able to notate things that I play (e.g., transcriptions). As a side-effect, I can also layer other sounds on top of the vibes, e.g., strings.

My take on a timeless jam session anthem.

Chopin's music is so dense. A brilliant balance of technicality and emotion is conveyed on everything he wrote. Every time i play this piece I see a new way that the lines connect, in the spiderweb of arpeggios and linear passages. The tempo here is faster than I usually play it (66 bpm, rather than 55-60).

Working on the promotion of these brand new publications of 'Mallet Ensemlbe' music.
I arranged/composed these 6 pieces through a commission from 'Zeltsman Marimba Festival' (ZMF) in 2013. They are written for two shared marimbas and a vibraphone (5 performers).
