Here's a new version of my confusing composition 'Verwirrspiel'. I am happy that I was able to produce the video for the Berlin-Neukölln music school, where I have been working with great colleagues for years.

Franz - Great Piece! I have a mallet percussion ensemble at Temple University and I'd love to try this piece out next semester. We don't have percussion in it, but we can. As I'm listening to the piece it sounds like it could be a nice duet as well. Where can I get it?

Hi Tony, that would be an honor if you try it out with your ensemble. The piece is published here: https://www.codamusic.de/rapidcartpro/index.php?product/page/3757/VERWI… Everything is written out, but i totally agree, if things are more improvised, except for the head...melody etc. The cajon part ist also written out. It's not easy, but it's ok if a player finds his own variations here and there. Of course the vibes and marimba solos can be improvised. The piece was played by a russian ensemble from Smolensk, the really nailed it i must say...everything played as written and it sounds really great. But it would be exciting to hear a version with your ensemble's own solos.

Adding the cajon and cymbals, etc. to the vibes and marimba is a beautiful sonority. Reminds me of when I first saw Double Image quartet when I was at MSM. The recording is top notch and the mood is right. Hope to hear more - a really nice composition.
