There comes November… and its new TOTM: Alone Together! We started with great lessons and etudes. So join us!

Today we learned the passing of Angelo J. Vaglio. He must have been 95 or 96 years old but he kept playing nearly till this end and was an honourable member of our community. We dedicate this newsletter to him and will keep up vibing in his memory.

Most of us know who Angelo is. He was probably one of the oldest working vibes players in the world. There are a whole bunch of videos up here I think of him playing, it's not there on YouTube.

He was a really nice guy, totally into the Vibraphone, and that age 93 was working 3 to 5 days a week.

So it's pretty sad to report that Angelo died last night, but he did have a really long and active life!

What a great month of September we had: presenting the new Malletech vibes ‘Omega’ (if you missed the online presentation hang, check out the vids below). While Tony once more spread the good vibes in Ireland with John Daly and Larry McKenna, our faculty members kept on posting the usual lessons on both Tunes Of The Month (Summertime and Wave for now). And when some of us were reading and finishing Gary’s biography, discussions kept on coming, with comments from the maestro himself.
