This is a solo by the great Wolfgang Schlüter transcribed by my student Dani Catalán.
Wolfgang Schlüter is one of the greatest European jazz vibraphonists. Although he is now 82 years old (and nearly blind) he ist still playing great. For further informations about him have a look at his Wikipedia entry (unfortunately only in german):

Hi Everyone,
Happy Spring!
Sunday, April 3rd, is the next Good Vibes. Warren leads off with a track from Invictus with drummer Reggie Quinerly. Jorge Duran joins GV for the first time from Spain, a cut on his EP "Linda Chicana." Ben Thomas plays yet another tribute to Joe Locke, called "Lockesteps." Steve Shapiro plays a selection from Solomental, "Protons, Neutrons & Croutons," (love the title). That's just the first half hour.
This was taped at a lesson last week at Berklee. Pianist GaYoung Bae is an excellent pianist at Berklee who was in the Global Jazz Program and is now in the Masters Program. She is taking an hour lesson with me this semester focusing on advanced improvisation concepts along with superb bassist SeungHa Lee who accompanies us while applying the concepts. It is a real pleasure working on improv concepts with these great students and high level players.

A Its been a while so here is a tune by Joshua Redman Trio which our improv class are learning at the moment. Its a tricky tune and just to get this where it is now has been a challenge but worth it. Still a few tweaks to be done here and there
