Come out and hear us play classic rock tunes in a jazz format!!!!

Rittenhouse Soundworks is in Germantown.

I think it was Roger that mentioned in the last video lesson I posted of Donna Lee my eighth notes were straight. I thought it was just for the lesson and I was demonstrating something.

But I guess they're pretty straight here also. I guess it's how I play it especially solo.

I did some work on Donna Lee last summer, so I'm going to challenge myself this week to play the head in all 12 keys.

I'll start today with Ab and D. Someday it would be cool to work each key up to tempo, but I'll be content with medium swing for now.
