Playing Stella in 4 keys for Tony

Hey everyone, just a fun little transposition thing on Stella to practice playing in weird keys. Basically going down a minor third each chorus, but I explained more on Tony's recent post. Practicing in minor 3rds is, IMO, a much better way to practice than going in 4ths or chromatically. It makes you uncomfortable and gets you out of habits.

Excerpts From Sound Bath in Prospect Park

Here is the video I shared at the vibe coffeehouse hang today.

This was my first time participating in a sound bath experience. This recording features three clips that I edited together from what was a much longer session in a tunnel in Prospect Park featuring flute, vibes, cello, and vocals with looping.

Feedback welcome - hopefully I will be doing this more! :)

A Thorough Guide to Ending Tunes, Part 3: Last Chords

Hello all!

I’m taking a little break from the “how to play vibes like” lessons and am doing a couple beginner-oriented ones on ending tunes, although I think everyone can probably get something from them. This lesson is really for anyone who has ever been on a gig or at a jam session where at the end you all just kind of fizzled out in an unsatisfying, anticlimactic way, and wants a better alternative for the future. It’s also for anyone who just wants more creative options to end tunes.
