Pretty Close

I'm reminded of that Zen story about the grasshopper that keeps jumping half the distance to his destination and never gets to where he's going.

We're so close with this site, the increments are getting tiny now and I'm dying to get to the finish line. I can see it though.

Our launch date is August 1st. I think we'll beat it by a few days. So keep an eye out!

Bluesette - Chord Analysis by Tony Miceli - www.vibesworkshop.com

Here's a real simple solo on the tune Bluesette. The great thing about the solo is you can clearly hear the changes. Play the melody and chords then learn the solo. MEMORIZE THE solo. Play it in different keys and see how it works. Notice how the chords change and how the lines move along with the chords. It's really important to understand that if you don't have the melody and chords memorized and understand how the tune works that you won't be able to play a good solo. All this has to be internalized.
