Hi!
A friend of me, Ralf got a Percussion Ensemble with some very good, young talented players.
He asked me to arrange some modern popular songs for them and record and produce a video.
So here´s the first result. hope you like it

If you don't know, A mini concert is when you play 2 or 3 songs without stopping. Record audio or video and then post it. It let's you get the feeling of playing on stage. It has really helped my playing.
So mini concerts Dec. 15th. Who's in????
Don't Post until Dec. 14th in the evening if you can.
If you post video, post it on Youtube or I think Vimeo will work also. Copy the link, go to (on the left) Post > Video > Embedded video and you can figure out the rest. If you need help contact me.
Who's in to contribute to a Mini Concert Dec. 15th???
Hi VW friends!
If you are going to be in town for PASIC, be aware that Indy's jazz tradition is still going VERY strong. We have amazing players who come up from the great music school at IU, plus a bunch of fantastic local players. There are two clubs in Indy that are strictly jazz - the Jazz Kitchen, and the Chatterbox. The Chatterbox is located downtown - just one mile from the Convention center and is really worth checking out. On weekdays the music starts at 8:00 and there is no cover charge and the drinks are cheap.
As the book says, I’m trying to make it sound chant like, though also using time and dynamics to make it interesting. However, I’m not sure if I’m going too crazy with timing or not...I think it sounds alright! Comments and criticisms please!!!
Vibe players Earn $150.00 practicing and learning!
Be the first person to record this little etude I arranged for solo vibraphone and I'll paypal you 150 BUCKS!
The Etude is based on the traditional spiritual song "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" and will be beautiful when you perform it at your church. Your performance must be expressive, played well, nicely recorded (home recording is fine) and posted here. $50.00 goes to the second vibraphonist and 25.00 to the third. GO!
NOTE: You gotta play the piece well.
