This is a recording of Rainbow I made this morning while practicing that includes the turnaround and some more ideas related to the inner lines we discussed before.
I'm still working on it in G so this one is in Eb.
Sidenote: I'm picking up a better microphone this week from my parents house so hopefully the sound quality will improve and be louder.

This is the first chorus of the Blue Bossa Dexter Solo. The recording quality isn't great (still working out the kinks in the recording setup), but it gets the idea across. My goal is to have the second chorus done by the end of this weekend.

Next time we meet up online along with discussing the transposing can we also get me started on playing some blues? I've played blues in the past but I've always wanted to sound like the recording of yourself playing Blues in the Closet. I'd love to be able to talk with you about some of what you are doing.
I'm going to work on posting either tonight or tomorrow a new rainbow with the turnaround as well as hopefully the second chorus of the Dexter solo sometime this weekend.

I'm playing a Blues!
Here's a duet I made for a student a while back. It's Donna Lee and It's in the key of D. So if you're working on the tune, transpose it and play. I play the head in and take a chorus. Then I comp for you and then you take the head out. It's not fast. I just threw it together for a student.
