This is a free improv I did some weeks ago.

Actually, I had in my mind some landscapes and atmosphere from a book, a novel named "La Horde du Contrevent" from Alain Damasio...

I just found this video and thought I should post it on here. The quality is great. We're playing this tune in our ensemble at Uarts that Tony directs. Does anyone know who's playing vibes in it? Thanks!

It's a little strange to me that more people aren't talking about what they're working on, posting what they're practicing, putting there stuff on the line. This is something I'll never get. I try to assume that most of you guys aren't posting what you're up to because you're too busy, in a really productive environment. You get it? I guess if you're in college and you're playing stuff in groups, working with your friends, talking to lots of teachers, or doing sessions all week long and putting your stuff on the line all the time, then yeah, this wouldn't be first on your list.

I was talking with Patty about this today and thought I'd post it. Maybe Patty will some comments to this if I missed anything.

A lot of times when I practice, I hit an interval and it reminds me of something I've heard before. Then I have to learn that tune. I heard an interval from Crepuscule with Nellie, by Thelonious Munk. I didn't have a lead sheet so I started picking out stuff from recordings I had. Here's some noodling around with some parts that I picked out so far.

Can anyone recommend a source for the lead sheet to this tune?
