The gold bars are in excellent condition. It is a great sounding instrument. It's 20 to 25 years old and has been well cared for. I have refurbished it a bit with black paint, good lubrication, and strengthened the frame. It's very solid and quiet. The motor works.

I'm selling a deagan model 145 vibraphone with deagan model 1100 gold bars. It was painted black, sounds great, motor works. Can sent picture. Asking $1500. D55bach@gmail.com.

Since I realize that I'll never be able to live with myself if I were to sell my old century vibe, I'm looking for a frame that I can beat around town with. M 55 frame preferably. Beat up shape is ok and even preferred. I just need something basic that can get thrown in the trunk of a cab.
