I have a Deagan 3 octave marimba for sale. This was made in 1929. It has beautifully sounding Rosewood bars!
I would consider the instrument in near Excellent cond. It looks beautiful and sounds beautiful! I have the original Case and stand. However, about 20 years ago my dad ( an expert carpenter)made me a beautiful mahagony stand for it.

The price is $5,000.00 including cases! The instrument is in excellent condition and everything works. The cases have been reinforced at the stress points by a tailor.

The instrument can be heard on iTunes on the CD Trajetorias by the band Bossa Brasil.

I will consider:

1. $5,000 cash
2. A trade for a very recent model of Musser M-55 (preferably with gold bars (tuned to A-440 would be excellent)

I'm strapped for cash, so unfortunately, my beloved Deagan Aurora 1000 is up for sale on Ebay.

One of these same models just sold on malletshop.com for $5800.

There is a listing in the Lansing, MI Craigslist for a 3-1/2 Octave set of vibes made by a maker named Novak from Mason, MI.
This instrument is offered by Sharon, the widow of the original owner. I am posting here with her permission.
Sharon sent me a photo of the maker's mark from one of the keys - it says "Vibes by S.W. Novak, Mason, Mich C500". She could not find an indication of the tuning.

Premier 750 in excellent condition for sale. Very clean, new cord, felt. $1,100 obo.

I'm looking to lease or rent a good set of vibes for the Abersold camp in July, at the University of Louisville. This is for July 10 - July 16. I think Dick Sisto will be there too. I have my own set but trying to avoid traveling with it, etc. :(

Or if you have any contacts at the University I can contact, please that would be great.

This looks like a pretty good Ebay deal on an M-55 in the Midwest. I have no ties to this person and I can't vouch for the listing; if I was in the market, i'd check it out. It also includes gig bag(s).

I have an old Ayotte pickup system for sale. It has 4 rails (2 per side connected with 1/8 mini patch cords)
Has most of the pickups, you may have to buy a few from KK or make them yourself. I have put this on and off the vibes a few times over the years but it never really was something I used much and never gigged.
Some of the Pickups are larger and some are smaller KKs that I bought to replace the broken ones.
