I finally got around to turning on the mics and playing over the Freddy the Freeloader rhythm track from this post:

It's rough but I was just trying to have some fun.
Please post your version too. Thanks for listening.
Here's part 1 of a series of lessons helping you understand the tune Giant Steps.
The other day, I heard a couple tunes on our local jazz station:
An arrangement of Burt Bacharach's "This Guy's In Love".
Victor Feldman and Bobby Hutcherson played on this album. I don't know who played on this song though.

I bought a beautiful stick bag off of Danasud as he's known on the site.
That bag is beautiful!
Thanks Danasud!

All Night Long is a film that takes place in London's jazz scene of the early 1960s, this updating of Shakespeare's 'Othello' features a strong cast (the late Patrick McGoohan as a brilliant jazz drummer who is very opportunistic and Richard Attenborough), as well as appearances by some of the best known names from the jazz world such as Charlie Mingus, Dave Brubeck, Johnny Dankworth, Keith Christie, former lead and solo trombone from the great Ted Heath band, and the late Tubby Hayes, who apparently has been getting some attention and discussion here on vibes workshop.
What Do I Need To Perform Live and Online on the Vibe Hang?
One video camera
optional (but really helps) one decent stereo mic.
OR
a computer with a built in web cam and mic.
then go to mogulus.com and start an account.
create a channel on the site. you DON't need this for the vibe hang, but this is where you'll test your stuff out. create a channel, it's really easy.
Then quit your browser and plug in your video camera and or mic.
Open browser go to mogulus.com sign in then at the top you'll see OPEN STUDIO. Click on that and choose your channel.
This is my third shot at getting the music up on the site. It is Bryan Carrott accompanying Fathead Newman on a very famous jazz tune. See if you can guess it.
