Hi Marie-Noelle,

I took a bus up from Philly to New York this morning to attend this masterclass and thought it was great. Joe talked a lot about how spirituality directly relates to playing music and he also read a few passages from some books he's been reading that further explains this. It was some really deep material. It was also great to hear Joe and Christos play some songs off Van Gogh By Numbers that they haven't played for a while. We went to this greek restaurant after the class and it was great to catch up with them. This was an awesome experience to get to hear two of the best players today discussing their own approach to music.

Now that was a cool report Andrew! Thank you!

Wow, it must have been a great day! You didn't see any other guys from the site there?

Anyway... listening to Joe speaking is always a lesson, Materclass or not (;o). And having them both playing together again!! (Van Gogh is nearly 5 years old now)!

I envy you... But it's my fault: I asked for testimony and I got a great one! ;o) I'm glad it went well and that you enjoyed it!

Thanks!

Yeah, it was a lot of fun. I don't think there was anyone else there from the site as far as I know. Christos had his student there with him named Carlos who is a great percussionist and he said he checks the site occasionally though.
Thanks,
Andrew

I was in New York this morning. If I had known I would have been there.
