Hi , one more tune , a fun up-tempo from one of my gigs last
month , after Vibes and Arco solos , a fun trading with Simon on
drums.

Always great listening to your work JB! Even without the pipe! ;-) That one is smoooooking! I also love the idea that you're working with your brother! You sometimes remind me the Moutin bros! haha!
Tell me, at the end of the video, you're talking about a tune named "L'Hotel de la Plage". Has it got some link with that old French film?

Perfect trio ! You all sound very good and on this piece we can discover more the good work of your drummer. Vibes solo is VEEERY nice too ! Thanks to post. Good to see such a serious work.

Hey, JB! Haven't seen you in a long time. It's nice to see your video, still playing great. Saw Gildas for a minute last year in Paris, he was looking good and doing well. I guess you're still in New York. Nice to see you here at the vibes workshop. Keep up the good work. - GB

Thanks Gary , nice to hear from you & yeah I'm still in NYC and enjoying it ..
it's funny, I was just telling Gildas a few days ago that I watched a youtube video of you
with Getz in 66 (a gig in London I think) and how I noticed "the sunset belt" the solo vibes
piece from that concert , very impressionist and different..really enjoyed the playing and the
writing (since it's one of your composition) do you still play this piece
on gigs sometimes ?

Hi JB. I don't think I have played Sunset Bell since maybe around the 1970s. I saw that youTube from London and was kind of surprised by the way I played it in 1966. I think I was a lot more adventurous then! I'm glad that video survived. Best wishes for 2013, JB, hope to see you one of these days when I'm in NYC. - gb
