Tony has asked me to assign one of my etudes for you to work on. Here is a link to my etude on How Deep Is The Ocean:

It doesn't have to be perfect, but work on it and try to get it close to tempo. This etude will help you with ideas for lines. You can listen to my version of it, as well as the other members who have posted it.

Although this is xylo lesson, if you're a begining vibe improviser definitely check this lesson out.
Udel students. Here's your first assignment. Choose one of the lessons under check this out and do the assignment.
If you do the lesson 'getting to the four chord' give a few examples of getting there.
If you do the blues scale lesson make sure you do a couple choruses and make sure we can here each change.
