Any students out there want a free set of my mallets.

Well sort of free. I'll give away 2 sets to two people (1 set each) who want to do the following.

I'll be giving away the soft version of the mallets. Great for quiet(er) gigs and practicing.

Do a GOOD report on a living vibe player.
Put up his discography, and get 5 of his latest cds in our amazon section. Gather his important links, youtube vids, tell us something about him. (Don't plagiarize).

We Rock!!! (That means you).

I just looked and we're at around 4500 posts. That's if i understand the software correctly. Actually I think it's over 5,000 posts. Man we have come a long way. Thanks to all of us and our love of the instrument and our dedication. I thank you guys for your support of the site.

We must be at about 600 lessons now, I think? Well definitely over 500.

East Coast Vibe Summit

Maybe we should tie in with our partners in the west? I think we could easily pull off an East Coast vibe summit. I could get us a place to play no sweat and get the band. We chip in for food and have a really nice hang.

What do you east coast people think??? I'm just going to need help organizing and setting it up.

Ideas??

Jamming with the Clock... the Midnight Blues

.
Midnight yesterday evening. Far late enough as bed time for wise people... But I had not touched my vibes since I was back from the workshop... I closed the living room's door and took back my lonely mallets...

The rats and fish were quiet in the opposite corner. Ok, cool... But then I heard it. That noisy and disturbing clock on the cheminee that I always need to take off and put in the bathroom when I record something.

But this time I didn't hear it the same. It had become a lovely and soft 60 bpm metronome!
