1974 Musser ProVibe with silver bars for sale in good condition for $3,200. I listed it here last year before I moved to MA. It's just been sitting in my basement, so I lowered the price from $3,600 to $3,200. The ProVibe has been one of the most popular vibraphones for decades, and used ones don't show up very often. This instrument was renovated a number of years ago by the late Gilberto Serna of Century Mallet Instruments in Chicago, who was considered to be THE master vibraphone craftsman (I got his name and number from Gary Burton).

This instrument has only one case (for the bars). I've been gigging with it since 1974, wrapped in thick cotton blankets. There are some small dings, dents and scuff marks on the resonators, but it sounds great and the adjustable-speed motor works well. Extra cord for the bars, extra motor belt and rubber post gaskets included.

I prefer not to deal with crating which would be very expensive for the buyer. Located for tryout and pickup in Berkshire County in western Massachusetts, about 2 1/2 hours from NY or Boston. Feel free to call me at 413.717.0909.
