I'm sorry - my ears were playing tricks on me today. I thought I was hearing it in Dm, but I listened to it again and the descending line is clearly E down to A. My pitch recognition is pretty good, so I'm really surprised at myself for making that mistake.

Melody in 4 keys... What were their name again? Hmm... F, G, A, B? Should be.

PS: no my vibes is not squeaking on first part, it's the rats' wheels and their 'nice' conversations!

... both my teachers! Thanks!

Hey guys, what are you waiting for? Oh c'mon, it's no fun playing the "bootliker"!! ;-)

Who's next?! Is it really too easy for you? Hey Delaware guys!! Not even one would post his assignement? Not even in four little keys?

I dare you!! Who's in... in the 12 holy keys?

I'll post soon. I practiced today but I'm not satisfied with my timing when playing solo.
But I'm ok with the 12 keys ! :p

Hello All,
Here's the melody with more thought put into phrasing and time. I hope I posted this in the right place. Thank you in advance for your help/comments/criticisms. That's what I need to improve. Thank you Tony for this site.
Love, Peace,
Bob

right delisler,

i think spending time working on the melody is a great thing. you made it sound clear and rhythmic. so you da man.

do the same with the chords as well, right?

we were talking about this today in my improv class, that if you're practicing the melody or a solo through different keys, you're practicing SO many different things, including, (in a way) improv, phrasing, working on your time, on your melodic sense. and on and on.

so cool!!

Thank you for taking the time, and helping me. I know you are busy with all that is going on, so I really appreciate your direction. Part 2 (harmony) is next.
