Thanks for posting this! Helps alot!!!

Thanks Tony for posting this. I am a proud new owner of an Omega, and I have a question you might be able to answer. Is it possible to fold up and transport the frame with the keys still on it so long as the tubes are not attached? I play a lot with pickups so I don't really need the tubes a lot of the time and being able to fold up the vibe frame without having to take the keys off (and thus disconnecting all of the pickups from them) would make gigging a whole lot easier. It would also greatly increase the longevity of the bars and the pickups as the pickups can easily be damaged when rolling up the keys. Of course, the frame with the keys still on it wouldn't fit in the carrying case, but I could just use a furniture dolly and some thick moving blankets to protect it. As long as I can get it in the back of my car I'm happy.

Thanks!

i would imagine the following:

Maybe make a board to put in a case over top of the keys. I would think this is totally doable! if you could some how bunji the board on top of the keys. (put felt or something where the board touches the keys you know?

as you know the posts are different and backwards from the musser. you now what i mean? when you put the bars on. right? maybe you bunji around the bars a bit to insure they stay on.

congrats on the omega. this is the best frickin instrument i've ever played by leaps and bounds! however i will say to others, whatever instrument you have is the best instrument in the world because it's yours and you have something to practice on right?

Maybe, that's the frame you are looking for?
