Hi There-
A friend and I are undertaking a rather involved project for our duo of trumpet/flugel and vibraphone, and we're just wondering what the precedents are for this combination; if there's a jazz/improvised music duo with this instrumentation out there that I'm not aware of, if there's a historical one that is no more, but recorded together, what classical/new music repertoire has been written for this combo, etc. I'm looking on google now, but hoping y'all might have some handy anecdotal/first-hand knowledge about this. Much obliged.

I always wanted to play the theme from The Odd Couple TV show, and just found that I had it in my Real Book III. I entered the chords into Band-in-a-Box, and here it is.
Enjoy,
Barry
Are there any reviews or comments on the Ross or the Majestic vibe models? I know they are not as prominent as the main producers, but I have seen them at a lesser price point but I have not heard any reviews or how they sound or how they travel.
Thank you,
Roger
Cool Cat on the vibes.

I'm looking to buy a vibe in, around, or that will ship to Berlin, Germany. Preferably graduated bars with my top choices being M46, M55, YV-3710, or M48. BUT, I am open to anything right now so, if you have one to sell please hit me up. Doesn't have to be in perfect condition as I'm pretty good at fixing them - and a motor is not necessary. Thanks and peace. Jeremy
Hi All,
Want to know what is happening in October on Good Vibes radio? Of 19 tunes only four are standards. Three are reharmonizations of Lennon/McCartney and Stevie Wonder. The remaining 12 are newer contemporary compositions (eight of those were written by the performing musicians).
When I hear people say that good jazz is no longer being written, I ask them to please listen to my show. And when I hear people wondering about "where jazz is going," I tell them the same.
