A little break from the TOTM, but I started talking about this in the intros video for How Deep Is The Ocean.
I think this is an important subject that some of you may find helpful!
Point 2 is a newly formed, innovative duo by vibraphonist Christos Rafalides and bassist Petros Klampanis.
This concert is a sneak peek of their upcoming album, scheduled to be released in spring of 2013.

Because this composition contains so many ii-V's I thought it's a good idea to learn outlines.
I was in waorkshop today with Graig Bailey and he was talking about practising a tune with different rythms which eventually leads you to different stlyes. So rythm is EVERYTHING!
This is a good way to practise tunes!
