Tony has asked me to assign one of my etudes for you to work on. Here is a link to my etude on How Deep Is The Ocean:

It doesn't have to be perfect, but work on it and try to get it close to tempo. This etude will help you with ideas for lines. You can listen to my version of it, as well as the other members who have posted it.

As usual, I tried to make it 'mine' (mistakes included!). Well the key is surely not mine! Haha! But I couldn't work another one! This tune was awesome to work on! Thanks guys for all the lessons, posts, versions, inspiration! (to be followed)...

Have you guys heard the album, Coltrane's Sound? I just recently became privy to it. It's cool. Trane superimposes his changes on some standards as well as plays a few of his originals. It's quickly becoming my favorite Trane album.
