Wow! There are many live recordings from concerts in the mid-70's. All the great material from that era - with the Metheny 4tet and the Metheny-Goodrick 5tet. Check this out folks: what a schooling to hear these! Everyone sounds incredible...Gary & crew delivering amazing tunes night after night, and totally smoking!

There's also a video of Falling Grace with Chick in 1976, right around the time of Crystal Silence.

Hi, I'm just new to this forum and am really a jazz drummer rather than a vibes player but I've been lucky enough to have an old Premier vibraphone on loan for a while which I've been having a lot of fun with. I believe it's a 751 model but I have no idea how old it is. The current owner has now decided to sell and so he offered me the chance to buy it.

What a great weekend we had. The festival is in a French town Coutances near the coast. It’s kind of the border between Bretagne & Normandy (hope I‘m correct here).

We arranged a room with 1 of the people volunteering to give rooms for the audience. It was organized by the tourism department. So we 1st went over there. I walked in and started my explanation. “Hey, I’m Stefan Vandenbe” “OOOOOH It’s you !!!, I’m Marilyn, we mailed”. OK, so they where expecting us apparently. J
