International Jazz Day: an appropriate day for an enjoyable Skype lesson with percussion teacher Odd Kyrre Alsvik and students at The Arctic University in Tromso, Norway. The lesson topics focused on the fulcrum grip, dampening techniques and solo playing on Body & Soul. Technology has definitely opened up new and wonderful possibilities for music education.
