Hello all – although this might be an embarrassing question to ask, BUT I'm working on étude #8 (vibraphone technique dampening and pedaling by David Friedman)

Me and my dad have been playing a lot with programmed bass lines! Im totally open to any constructive criticism. Ive been playing vibes since January. Im really enjoying myself trying to pick up this instrument

This year at University of Delaware, the xylophonists joined forces with the vibists for one epic, 2-hour long mallet concert.

Great étude – will try to post a better performance next week. Had accuracy issues – and first time I was trying my tablet with a Bluetooth pedal for turning pages :-) not that pedaling and dampening and learning music is hard enough. it was quite an experience – that I might only try at home! :-)

Obviously I will practice slower and stay relaxed – thoughts???
