Tony,
I can't see the imbedded link... Ah OK I found the back link. Amazing player for sure. Maybe more subtle, his pedal work was amazing. At the end of his phrases were in the magic place. To my ears he holds out each note value exactly the same. Not staccato, not legato, just right.

Tony: This is a terrific video. It's nice to see the vibraphone incorporated into classical music like this. It's a great piece played by four very talented young people. Impressive vibe playing. Nice interpretation of this Mozart piece.

Any time I see a link on youtube with Andrei's name on it I click it and listen to it. He always plays beautifully and tastefully. I sometimes feel like I'm getting a free vibraphone lesson watching him play. He has a great musical sense, near flawless execution, and seems to possess each piece he plays. His work with Gidon Kremer & The Kremerata Baltica is astounding.

I agree with IndianaGlen that he plays it "just right."

Heard him play and talked to him last summer on a private duo gig (with pianist Hyung-ki Joo) in Hannover / Germany ( i borrowed him my Adams for the gig).

Smart guy + a great, tastefull player, regardless if its classical or jazzy !
