I've spend lot of time playing solo vibraphone especially during this difficult pandemic period so I decided to share with you my thoughts on this particular topic.
In the video I'll show you what for me are some of the basic concepts that you need to master for getting started with vibes solo playing.
Hola a todos!
Comparto mi versión de este maravilloso estudio (uno de mis favoritos de su libro) del gran David Friedman.
Espero que les guste.

Very interesting!
One last video to share for I'll Remember April. I played this tune at least five times (over four hours) when I was busking on Saturday, and I took a video of the ballad version. The sound is amplified in such a hip way thanks to the tunnel I play next to in Prospect Park! :-)
Hi! This is my version of the Etude n.6 of David Friedman's Vibraphone Technique Dampening and Pedaling book. Thanks for watching!
Hola! Esta es mi version del Etude n.6 del libro de Dampening y Pedaling de David Friedman. Gracias por mirar!
Hi Everyone,
April is Jazz Appreciation Month. It's great to have a whole month, not just a day, but I know you and I appreciate jazz all year. In this month's show I share many of the ways listeners can show they care. If you know others I haven't mentioned, let me know. But first you have to listen to the show, right?
