The Vibesworkshop videos are now available on Android phones. The app has the same functionality as the Roku app, so see http://www.vibesworkshop.com/video/vibesworkshopcom-roku-now-available/… to see how it works.

The app is available for free in the Android Market, just search for "vibes". Any feedback/problems, post here or e-mail me. Enjoy!

It looks like something's wrong with the password hash that got stored, but so far I don't know how it happened. Are you a subscriber? If so, please try to login at http://vibes.phelan-4.com/roku/ and let me know how it went.

To carry on from here I may have to ask you some questions about your password. E-mail me at tom@phelan-4.com and we can carry on the conversation.

So there was a bug in the code that computed the password hash. It's fixed now and I've uploaded a new version (1.0.1) to the Android market. Anyone who has installed the initial version (1.0) will get a notification of a new version the next time the phone syncs. Once the new version is installed you should re-link with your vibesworkshop account.

Sorry for the hassle :-(.

It's just the videos. The titles and descriptions come from whatever the user who created the video entered as title and body. There's no access to the comments though. The Android app is a straight adaptation of the Roku app, which has no browser support, so access to the full content is prohibitively complex on the Roku.

Android, of course, does have a browser, and the text of vibesworkshop.com is reasonably readable straight out, although it's pretty clumsy to keep scrolling left and right and up and down. In order to support phone browsers more fully, Tony or Stephen would need to come up with a style sheet adapting things to a phone-sized display. So a more fully-integrated app is possible.

I see that there are a few vw users who have installed the Android app and linked it to their accounts -- does anyone have any feedback?
