here´s the famous crystal silence in our version. not really completley happy with the recording but i take it as work in progress...
it´s the only less stressfull to play number in our corea burton program since it´s a ballad but to play it nice and get a tasteful solo on it is as difficult as the fast speed stuff.

I recorded it for my girlfriend who just lost HER best friend - a very dear pet of hers who passed yesterday from liver cancer. Posted it on her FB wall with the lyrics...
"Olhos De Gato” by Carla Bley - one of the first songs I learned with Gary Burton when I was studying with him in the 70s. I was very fortunate to be able to attend Berklee. I started in 72 and Gary had started teaching there the year before.

Morgan is a great young musician! She sat at a computer and transcribed this with no instrument. Then she adapted it for the vibes and then she played it!
