Check out Marie from San Fran. She has not been playing that long and she's already playing in a band. It's a big deal and will really improve your playing if you can get in an ensemble. FORGET about waiting until you're "good enough". You're wasting too much time. Marie sounds great!!!

A friend of me, Ralf got a Percussion Ensemble with some very good, young talented players.
He asked me to arrange some modern popular songs for them and record and produce a video.

If you are going to be in town for PASIC, be aware that Indy's jazz tradition is still going VERY strong. We have amazing players who come up from the great music school at IU, plus a bunch of fantastic local players. There are two clubs in Indy that are strictly jazz - the Jazz Kitchen, and the Chatterbox. The Chatterbox is located downtown - just one mile from the Convention center and is really worth checking out. On weekdays the music starts at 8:00 and there is no cover charge and the drinks are cheap.
