A little snippet of this Sunday night’s practice session on the classic song “Samba de Orfeu" composed by the great Brazilian guitarist and composer Luiz Bonfa. He also composed another one of my favorite Brazilian songs titled “Manha de Carnaval” from the movie Black Orpheus.

It'll soon be November and so many good things are happening.

"The Summer Knows" from the film "The Summer of '42". A beautiful song by the great composer Michel Legrand.

A harpist friend turned me on to this album, I wasn't hip to either Terry or Dorothy. I thought some people here might dig it too, especially since recordings of female vibraphonists seem far more rare than they should be.

Performed on Double Seconds with shell chord accompaniment on piano (added recorded audio track).

"Scarborough Fair" - A little Sunday night rumination on this beautiful English ballad.

This etude gave me a run for my money. Still don’t like my touch on the instrument; sounds like everything I am playing is very harsh.
