Thanks Tony! I am honored and glad to be a part of such a great community of musicians and awesome people!

I'm traveling a lot right now, but wanted to share a few tidbits of my life and musical journey so far.

I made my first mallet bag 12 years ago, when I realized there was nothing on the market that satisfied my needs and durability. So I sketched up some ideas based off of a 1950's mail bag design, and had my Mother who is a seamstress, sew it up for me. before we knew it, we had more and more people asking for us to make them a bag. From here we were approached by Neil Grover at our first PASIC event, asking us if we could make marimba cases at all.... I said sure! Even though I had no idea how to make a marimba case or what went into it! So I did tons of research and many prototypes. Figuring out the best material to use and taking apart all other cases on the market, finding there flaws and making my cases better. Before you know it, we were making some of the best cases on the market. Long story short, we now are one of the most sought after custom case makers in the industry and have made cases for some of the most notable orchestras, players and companies. We have a fun filled workspace on Anclote island in FL, where we produce all of our products by hand.

I am also a freelance musician and have played and toured all over the world, as well as been lucky enough to be on 15+ albums and records. Some of which have been hailed in Gramophone Magazine and others which my students enjoy listening to, like Pharrell Williams new CD (pop/rap artist). Along the way I have also had the privilege of playing with some of my childhood idols and people that made me get into the music industry, such as: Michael Feinstein, Terence Blanchard, Denyce Graves, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Monica Mancini, Mark O’Connor, Dave Grusin, Shelly Berg, Al Martino and many more.
I have graced the stage with some of the worlds greatest conductors and orchestras and brought some of the most beautiful and moving pieces to life. As well as played in the big band at Disney world and drum set / percussion for some amazing broadway shows.

As an educator and teacher I have a thriving studio of over 59 kids and teach weekly master classes all over the US. I was recognized as "most influential" teacher of the year 2 years in a row by Alvin ISD, which is one of the largest school districts in TX. I am also currently starting a new online percussion academy as well. Bringing my teaching skills and knowledge of the percussion world to as many people as possible. Educating and watching students grow from not being able to hold a stick, to going on to some of the most notable colleges on full rides for percussion, engineering, medicine, etc... is truly amazing and rewarding.

I truly love the fact that I have been able to be a case maker, performer and educator! It has been a fun and wild ride and I don't plan on slowing down anytime soon! I wish everyone just as much joy and success in their musical endeavors. Thank you very much for your time and for reading my story thus far. I wish everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year, filled with much love, joy and successes!
