Hey guys!
This is another tune we played last 9th juny, in a duo performance.
Si tu vois ma mère is a Sidney Bechet's classic. I think it's a beautiful tune.
Check it out and tell me what do you think!

Here is our live version of Misty with my guitarist friend Bernard, yesterday for our little annual gig. The slow tempo allowed me to be more at ease to switch from vibes to voice. Though the melody is not that easy and the key was…
Hey guys,
I just wanted to let you know that the album I recorded on in January, "The Duality Perspective", is now on Cdbaby and iTunes. The album consists of 2 bands, the Fo'tet and the Sextet. The Fo'tet features Felix Peikli on clarinet…
Here's an exercise I did recently. Just played a tune and played the offbeats. It's pretty hard.
Add the MalletKat in the mix and working with the pedal (which you have to really think a little differently with when playing lines) and this…
I have been using traditional grip when I play jazz vibes....And I have been wondering.....am I alone? I use it because it doesn't cause any blisters and pain and I find it to be very controllable. My high schools marching band makes us…

Just did this for fun. The form is 2 bars C maj, 2 bars F maj. It's DEFINITELY not perfect in any way, but I just thought it was cool sounding. All vibes, just overdubbed a bunch of times. Let me know what you think!
the malletkat is great to make playbacks. all sounds here are made only by the malletkat. you have to play different phrasings with different sounds that´s a good exercise too. and its fun :)
tarik
i can bring over a malletKat if anyone is interested. you won't get one cheaper than this across the pond there. so if you're interested, let me know! you will save a LOT of money.
This is a great pic of Charlie Parker at the Royal Roost NYC 1948, can't help noticing all those people totally absorbed in his performance, just look at their faces, its a powerful picture for sure.
