Thanks Barry. It's still a work in progress but getting better and loving learning the programs. Many more videos and other musical activity to come.

Thanks for taking a listen Babu. Hoping to do another video today. If not today, I'll definitely get one in the next three days.

Thank you Marie. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm working on the TOTM (I'll Remember April) and hope to have an opportunity to video it this week. Always a fun to to play!

Glen,
Those bars were a special made set of polished bars and they made two sets in the early 70s (Musser). I like the polished better for one reason - mallets last longer on them. Some of the newer sets are so rough that they're like playing on sand paper and wears the yarn out if you do a lot of mallet damping. They do glair though in bright lights. What do you mean by your comment title? Do you want me to offer a clinic? I'm looking for venues so if you know of any, let me know. I'm playing at U of Arkansas in Sept.. Played at UNT a couple months ago but I'm just now booking so if you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks.

Sorry for being unclear. My point was that watching your video was a 4 mallet mini-clinic. Good to know you are available for clinics too!

At the risk of a tangent from this thread, do you notice any difference in sound between the shiny and brushed bars? Have your bars been re-tuned? It may be the recording, however, they seem very clear sounding i.e. the fundamental is much stronger than the upper harmonics. I have a very old set of musser Lacquered bars (shiny) that have been re-tuned by Gilberto Serna, and they have more of a "deagany" sound to my sound to my ears and I always assumed it was because they weren't anodized.

I've heard several comments that the Yamaha bars are more mellow if they are brushed (and anodized).

FYI: This short little piece has three time signature modulations 4/4, 6/8, 3/8 and apparently one 3/4 measure (by mistake HA!)
