There have been many requests over the years to make these two songs available in sheet music format...
Sorry it took so long. But they are finally available here:

Van Gogh By Numbers - 3-page PDF

You can download each tune for only $1.90. Enjoy!!

Forum Topic: Jazz Theory Books

Hey guys! I came here about 5 months ago for some help with finding an internship and after how amazing that was I'm back for some help in creating a class for myself. I'm looking to learn Jazz Theory from a few books. I've worked things out with the theory teacher at my school so I can get credit, I just need to find a few books to use because its going to be self-guided. I've looked around Amazon.com and its simply overwhelming (I do recall seeing a book that Tony left a review for but I can't remember the title to go back to it).

Forum Topic: Vibe related internship

I go to a high school where during each of your three underclassman years you do a one week internship in whatever you want. Anyone have any good vibe related ideas/leads? Anything in performance or craftsmanship would be really cool. I live in Columbus, Ohio and although I can leave the state, keep in mind that I must find some sort of lodging.

Thanks for any help,
Jimmie

Forum Topic: Practice

Hi all, new to the website it's fantastic!

Abit about myself:

I'm entering my third year of percussion studies at the University of Lethbridge under Adam Mason. I started playing vibraphone about 7months ago by volunteering in jazz band.

My question is how to approach all of this material.

I also own the wondeful book The Art and Language of Jazz Vibes by Jon Metzger.

Do you think it would be better to go through 1 source at a time, or try to work out some way of practicing alot of concepts from this website as well as the book.

thanks,
