holidays are over and i got so inspired by david and tonys video of "if i were a bell". i never played it before and practiced it the whole day. instead of doing a solo vibes version i wanted to make a trio version. unfortunatley all my musicicans friends are on holidays so i did all by myself.i found out bass lines are not that easy and i did not play keyboard since ages. i tried to work out a lot 4 mallet playing.

Here is a sample track from a new recording I've just completed. The units will be available by around mid September. I turned 60 in July and this new CD kind of marks the occasion (and hopefully reminds me that 60 is not old!)

Here N°6. The tempo is slow in relation at what is indicated on the book, but no way to play faster. Since the N° 7 is with the same melody, I hope speed will increase with time. Reducing to MP3 format make loose some of the nuances.

It has been ages since I posted any in the blog: last months have been enormously busy but ended with a nice holidaytrip to Scotland.

With the added new cnc-machinery and after quite some programming we were able to speed up the building process of the gigVibe models. Was really needed cause due to the developping of the carbonVibe the delivery time of the gigVibe increased a lot. Luckily we're blessed with understanding and very patient customers.
We're now finalizing the gigVibes for the last couple of them, among which a very nice 3.5 octaves with midi.

My rendition of a Nepali folk tune that was taught to me by my friend Manose. The quartet is Justin Sekelewski (bass), Dan Hanrahan (guitar) and Gabe Globus-Hoenich (drums).
