I've been working on the first four chords of "Fine and Dandy" and tonight I decided to jam on them in Bb. I've also been learning about improving my audio quality for recordings and learning how to pair audio and video with iMovie. So...here is a silly little jam. Enjoy!

I was swapping emails with Arvid in Norway until the time he moved back to his homeland Germany. This was under 10 years ago and I remember that he posted his new email address either at this site or at the former Vibe.net site, but I failed to copy it down and as a result lost track of him.

My wife and I like to watch British murder mysteries. In many of these, the preferred form of dispatch seems to be blunt objects to the head, hence "Bonk Bonk".

This is a local duo from several years back based in Cincinnati, Ohio. I think what I like the most about this particular performance is that they really tap into the eccentricity of playing a Monk tune. Although both of them play well, I have to give high props to Charlie on piano who really makes it work with his accompaniment. King (nicknamed Bowl around here) pulls together what Milt would play with a nice dash of Hutcherson thrown in.

Not very good video quality although the sound is acceptable. The performance is more than acceptable.
