This morning French vibist Benoit Moerlen made me discover this jazz album that Serge Gainsbourg composed in 1958. And oh surprise, there is vibes on a few tracks!! That one is my favorite: "Jazz In the Ravine". On vibes, one of are veterans Michel Hausser! :o)
Enjoy!

Hello vibers,
For me the voicings and comping is the most hard and difficult part of my study of vibraphone. It's for that reason that I try every time to explore new ways to look to it to convert the comping playing as fluent as playing lines.
Question:
I'm a beginner vibes player, and am fortunate to play in a band that has a very wide variety of tunes in the repertoire. Don't ask me why... it just kind of worked out that way, and we're all amateurs in it for fun and doing mostly free charity stuff, so why not mix it up?!?
Pretty good, huh?
I played a great and fun gig in South Korea at the Daegu Jazz Festival. I made some great friends over there, so are on Vibesworkshop! Jinwoo and Sang Won. Great guys and great players! Sang Won studies with me at University of the Arts.
