I've been slow to warm up to marimba over the decades, but recently I've really come to love the instrument. Most of my resistance was due to me since I didn't own one, plus I didn't see myself ever playing one as a practical gigging instrument. In the past few years, I add to it it when I feel like messing with it. It's great practice material and is very challenging. I thought I'd add it to the mix here at VW for folks looking for something different to work on while held up at home.
