They are a few years old, but they are timeless as is his music!
"Farmer's Trust" - one of my favorite compositions from guitarist Pat Metheny. A great song to use as a vehicle for dampening including the one hand dampening techniques - slide, hand and pivot dampening. All of these dampening techniques will be covered in depth via exercises, etudes and pieces in my upcoming book on pedaling and dampening.
I haven’t been able to get to recent Wednesday 2 pm Zoom coffeehouse meets. The earlier ones I attended were great. As a discussion topic, I’d like to hear how vibists approach the challenge of learning chord sequences as you improvise. Do you think of a number sequence, or visualize a chord signature? Do you have any suggestions for how to practice the skill of sequence memorization?

He changed the title since I first saw this from "Music Theory is Racist" to its current form. Probably a better descriptor of what he has researched and laid out in pretty good detail.
