Hey everyone!

I'm just back from a very nice lunch with Ed Saindon and his lovely wife Pam... here in Paris! We had a great time and much enjoyed our hang!

This little picture... is for you Tony! As promised we had that drink in your honor!... And... sorry but Ed still has his fingers... on both hands... Gold is gold... :o)

PS.: Ed says "Hello from Paris"! :o)

That was a very very nice moment. Ed and Pam are wonderful persons, very nice to meet and talk with. We talked about our lives, about music and musicians, about the site, and about the pleasure to hang, on the web, and for real!

Good time always passes too quickly... but it was great fun!

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say that my wife Pam and I had a wonderful time meeting Marie-Noelle. It was great to meet and hang with MN and see pictures of her beautiful family and home. MN picked a very nice brasserie for lunch. We ate outside since the weather was excellent that day. It was a very pleasant lunch filled with wonderful conversation. It will certainly be one of our most pleasant memories of Paris.

We had a great time in France. We spent 6 nights in Paris and a few days in the Alsace region. The weather was a bit iffy at times, but it didn't deter us from doing the things that we wanted to do.

While I was there, I gave a clinic and two lessons to two nice players (Ben Bennik from Luxembourg and Denes Muller from Hungary) at the conservatory in the 18th district where vibist Philippe Mace is the director. My interpreter was vibist Ludmila Stefanikova who did a great job. By coincidence, Ludmila just arrived in Boston the other day to begin her studies at Berklee.

Philippe and I played some duets after the clinic. It was great to see and play with Philippe since we hadn't seen each other since he was at Berklee which was well over 20 years ago. It was also great to see vibist David Patrois who brought some of his students to the clinic. I hadn't seen David since he was at Berklee which was also over 20 years ago. That's the great thing about being in the music field. Years go by, but the relationships and friends are always there and don't fade away. After the concert, we all went out to an excellent restaurant for a nice hang.

I hope you enjoy the photos. One is with Philippe and the other with David.

This picture appeared by mistake on the "last image" as I created a group of all the pictures of my meetings in Paris:

It made me realise that the very first one (this one with Ed) is already 4 years old! And also that I had the chance to meet 7 people (5 from my work, 2 from home), 3 of them this year!

Who's next? :o)
