Smoking trio ! great work ! What is your vibes ? Sounds well and it seems it's not a big size instrument ? And what's the name of the tune ? Thanks to post !

Swings. I like it. wonderful bop lines.

Marie, if you look in the upper end, you'll see the nameplate. This appears to a Jog vibratom, a Brazilian maker. They have a lot of instruments.

Real-Euro exchange rate may make this a viable option, if you can get one imported.

thanks so much to you all, i really appreciate the kind words! indeed the vibes is a JOG... I don't know if they are still that much cheaper than a musser. The way i see it now after having it for almost 5 years, is that they are not a sort of replacement to a musser, but a thing of its own (they've been doing vibes for over 50 years). measures are the same as musser. It's amplified with radioshack pickups (haha) and at that gig i was using the house's SWR Redhead, i really liked it. Mallets are a custom model made by argentine timpani and mallet maker MC (www.mcpercusion.com.ar)

BTW there's a handful of pretty decent vibes makers in argentina and brazil, a whole new world, specially budget-wise
