New music- "Between the Bars"

I sent an email blast about this, but in case there's folks not on my list who may be interested in this, I figured I'd post it here too :)    

   I'm excited to announce the release of a new album! Between the Bars is my sixth installment as leader on the Posi-Tone record label. The album will be available on all the usual digital platforms next Friday 4/7, but if you would prefer a physical copy, you can purchase one in advance from my website. Here is a sample from the new album.
   I’m very lucky to be surrounded by such terrific musicians! For this session, I’m joined by Patrick Cornelius (alto sax, soprano sax, bass clarinet), Diego Rivera on tenor saxophone, Altin Sencalar on trombone, Art Hirahara on piano, Peter Slavov on bass, and Vinnie Sperrazza on drums. Each member makes very valuable contributions to this album. Hopefully you will be able to catch us for the CD release at Smalls on Tuesday, May 2nd. Set times are 7:30pm and 9pm.
