Since I realize that I'll never be able to live with myself if I were to sell my old century vibe, I'm looking for a frame that I can beat around town with. M 55 frame preferably. Beat up shape is ok and even preferred. I just need something basic that can get thrown in the trunk of a cab.

Drop me a line if you have one.

I get my century vibes resonators in the back of a cab here. Those Lincoln towncars have pretty wide trunks.
Would anybody want to buy a set of M 55 bars if I just bought a new one and took the frame? anyone....Bueller...?

Do the Century resonators fit on an M55 frame? I thought they were a little bit larger. I know that mine don't fit in the resonator bag for my M55. Why not see if you can get an Omega vibe frame? I remember Tony saying somewhere that it was possible to just buy the frame, but maybe I'm wrong.

They are very similar but the M75 resonators have a little tab sticking out at the low end (looks like an sideways "L". The M55 are flat ( ] ). I'm pretty sure the front resonator tubes on the M75 are a little longer too. BTW, the way the rails and sides come off of the M75, you can actually fit the M75 in a smaller car. --i.e. the frame of the M55 is pretty big and can't be taken apart. If you're interested I can do some measuring but I can't for a week or so.
