Hey everyone, To reaffirm my belief in the value of composing alternate melodies, I'd like to offer up a Free CD of mine to the first two people to post an alternate melody to any of the Tunes of the Month that we have gone over on the site! Post a lead sheet and an audio recording of you playing the melody if possible!
Here is the 3rd part of a lesson series on Building a Voicing Vocabulary. This lesson, like the others, is intended to be listened to after having read the PDF which accompanies it.

Here is our first EOTM by David Friedman. I'm hoping David will become our EOTM man. He has all these creative ways of playing scales and doing exercises. So let's see if we can get him to be our EOTM CEO.
Here's the first one. This is a great idea actually. If you practice one of these exercises each month and just for the month I would argue that technically it will alter your playing for the better. I'm going to do it also!
