Mr. PC by John Coltrane

A little late night session working on the sabbatical project. This a minor blues on John Coltrane’s “Mr. PC”. Solo vibe techniques include left hand comping mixed with one/two hand lines and right hand octaves. Improv techniques include Pentatonics, Upper Structure Triads, Motivic Playing and Side Slipping. Bridge Over Troubled Water - Simon and Garfunkel

"Bridge Over Troubled Water" - a classic song from Simon and Garfunkel that I've been working on the past few days. I worked with it for some reharm possibilities and applying voicings from my book Voicing Concepts for the Jazz Vibist (available from Amazon).
